It isn't too bad right now. Just a couple inches of snow on the ground. It is all white. This morning my solar was putting in 50 watts. After going outside it was apparent there was an inch of powder on the array. Cleaning it all off. Now it is producing 400 watts or 8 amps. Not bad. :) Considering my batteries will be full by the end of the day and the following photos showing what it looks like outside to get those 8amps!

A view that is heaps warmer from indoors! |

Snow cover and a couple miles of visibility. |

The Cleaned off Array (2000watts) producing 400watts even in this fog/overcast at noon! |
No snow here, but it was 17F and sunny when I got up at 7:30. Too cold for me!
ReplyDeleteYou had 17F?? Good for you!! That is a proper temperature! It is 17F right now at 6pm. Soon to drop to single digits. Would you believe me if I said I was staying indoors?
DeleteSnow? 17? Do y'all live at the North pole or what? Jeesh. It's currently 76 and humid, ha. But we're supposed to have a light freeze this weekend so it's "almost" Winter for us.
ReplyDeleteStay warm and by the way, your pics are great, love seeing snow.
Yay, near light freeze! HAH I mean balmy temps! :D
DeleteIt's now looking like you should have built an igloo!
ReplyDeleteHAHAHA. If it ever gets so thick, I will pack it up along the sides of the building just for insulation value. (Frozen ice would be a lot warmer than our forecasted low of 2F later this week.)
