Probably because it was the one that just cut over directly to the tarmac/FBO without me circling about the airport. There was another set of taxi instructions for a separate aircraft, so he could have been moving that guy down the way, as well. :)

All in all, my landing was one I could walk from, so.... A GOOD ONE. :)The Stay @ Home-Gardenerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06102175625149771801noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5192028072022682301.post-76442065612768000072014-09-09T02:17:04.803-07:002014-09-09T02:17:04.803-07:00Thanks for the flight video. It has been a while since I've flown a small plane, miss it but not the expense of it.
Was the tower messing with you when after landing he wouldn't let you use the first turnoff and made you taxi way down just to turn off and taxi all the way back?
Mike Yukonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07615350717597229013noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5192028072022682301.post-34717488626756575642014-09-08T13:05:31.193-07:002014-09-08T13:05:31.193-07:00I have flown quite a bit in Colorado. It was what cued me in on living in CO. :)

There are some smaller airfields. Or I could fly out of the larger ones as well. Even those that you consider to be strictly Airliner fields are public entities and have a GA section (general aviation). The Stay @ Home-Gardenerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06102175625149771801noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5192028072022682301.post-39671189958591535092014-09-08T08:00:14.893-07:002014-09-08T08:00:14.893-07:00Do you ever get to do any flying in your new area....Do you ever get to do any flying in your new area. I think that would be something I would miss. The smallest plane I was ever on was an old ww2 cargo plane converted to take passengers into key west. At the time it was the oldest pland still in regular service. I don't remember the model but it was a tail dragger. It was a fun flight. You could feel the movement of the air unlike the larger planes that are so smooth you hardly know you are flying. Are there any small airfields near you now?Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00739980913027959640noreply@blogger.com
