    1. Thank you Mr. First. ;) Who knew when I decided to grow my food from scratch I would be pressed to learn how to use keynote and iMovie. Now is the time to do It before I really have to create some neat video when everything gets crazy around here!

  2. My first time stopping by. I found you on another blog we both follow! I thought the video was very cool. I am a gardener as well, also try to do as much as I can to be sustainable. I will be back to read more. Please stop by and follow me as well. Maybe We can learn from each other!

    1. Thanks for the heads up. Appears we follow more than one in common. Not surprising. Plenty of interesting mini farmers around here. I'll be sure to take a look! Where a bouts in WV? I've done some aerial mapping there.

  3. That was a great video. I was glad you kept the moment you took a break to pet the cat.

    1. *hah*

I am finding as I look back through the footage during editing, the cat makes quite a few cameo appearances. He grows jealous when I am doing things that doesn't involve him!

  4. Oh my goodness, your garden looks so neat and precise! And the soil so black! Mine should put me to shame in comparison. Looking good!

    1. Lol. Its a culmination of several bags last year of compost and incorporating a top layer of leaf mulch that over the winter has become more of a leaf mould. I think I am going to start incorporating chopped leaves from the fall into the beds. With trees pulling up minerals from deep down the leaves are supposed to have a bit of it.

The original garden is the best soil I have. I still have to get off the butt and buy compost for all the rest of it!
