#43 - Project Money Maker Video

  1. Well, I'm way behind on blog visiting. The project sounds like an excellent idea. To be able to earn a little for yourself plus provide something needed and useful for someone else is ideal. I know you'd like to cozy up your house before winter sets in!

    1. Dry wall sure does finish off a place, doesn't it, Leigh! You have had numerous retrofits yourself. No worries on being behind. I've been MIA for months anyhow. :)

  2. Finishing the shed off into a Gazebo is a good idea. It will be a great outdoor living area especially when you move your home close to it and connect the two with a walkway from the home to the Gazebo. Get the BBQ grill set-up, a hot tub, a small fire pit and your nightlife could become very interesting! :-)

Keep the video's coming with the progress!

    1. Shh. Did I inadvertently tell you about my idea of having a sauna/hottube for winter storms? Surround it with glass and a roof. Use up that 80% pv overhead of mine. After all. I have learned over the year that winters are crystal clear with intense sun, while the last month or so has been the cloudy time of the year. :)

  3. Lil blue is even cuter after the first winter- though I still think flower boxes would be the bomb. I laundered my cell phone last year. After sticking it in a bag of (uncooked) rice it was good as new. Might be worth a shot for your laundered electronics :)

    1. I'm working on it. :) At minimum, some gargantuan tall pots in the front to frame out the entrance way. I agree with you that Lil'Blue looks nice when it is surrounded in white!

This year should be even cozier. Having the fireplace going for most of the heating, while having the propane furnace (taken from the old trailer) connected to a thermostat to keep it warm while I sleep. Should take the bite out of waking up in the morning without going broke on propane costs.
