Also, it is much more difficult to find your cream colored cat when he is the same color as the landscaping... let alone shorter than it.
Only took me roughly 3 hours for all 3 acres.
This was my first time using a rider. Came by it easy enough. Biggest buggaboo was when I forgot to put the gas cap back on it when first filling it up. Then noticing that one the angled hills that gas was splashing onto my pant leg.
Hmm. All within the first 10 minutes. Luckily the cap was found and replaced.
From there it was smooth sailing!
Now, I would not wish to mow all the time, but once a year, to aide in composting/fire mitigation/flora leveling, it isn't too bad.
I can see where "1st" finds solace in it. It is nearly like a little rally-go-cart circuit. Plus, you toss the thing in rabbit mode and she really does go!
Towards the end I was getting bored with it. I was burnt from all the sun. The endless amounts of pollen. The dirt. Plus growing tired of listening to the poor blade find the hidden huge boulders...
However, it capped itself off when I mowed the last little section which involved a downhill run and then back uphill on the other side.
Very roller-coaster-esque!
Wee-haah!
