Yes, fully insulated to retain as much heat as possible should make the early morning fire die down and chill time a little better. Now if you could only train the cat to add more wood so you can stay in bed! :)
Happy Anniversary Cloud and Mr. P. Hope you have many more in your new lifestyle. Now you have all winter to plan for a garden next season. Have you made any progress using the heater from the camper for the little house? That sounds like a great project for comfort this winter. Just be very carefull about CO.
Thanks, Frank. I have not rigged it up yet. I am figuring that I will have it enclosed within the Bathroom addition on the back of the Cabin. That is, vented to the outside but positioned inside the new section once it is up. Lately I have been working on friends Houses. Not much happening here other than the occasional hand on the fence project.
The upcoming garden... I am looking forward to food security!
Wow a year already! At least you're better prepared for the cold now than a year ago.
ReplyDeleteYou remind me of Jeremiah Johnson and the comment Bear Claw made to him, "You've come far pilgrim"
Haha. You mean starting out the season with insulation, Mike? I have actually been quite comfortable in the house for the last several months.
