    1. 75F indoors. :) Just have the cathedral part of the ceiling left to insulate and the parts of the south wall around where the windows will go. Nearly there! It only takes a few of those logs from behind the house, split them up, to warm this place for the evening. 6-7pm to midnight when I go to bed.

Septic. Hmm, those are some good guesses. :) Stay Tuned!

  2. Septic was my first guess. Next would be a root cellar. Bomb shelter? I think we can safely assume it's not a swimming pool.

    1. If I hit water it could be a swimming pool!! Or a hot tub with the excess solar. ;)

  3. Root cellar was my first thought but septic makes more sense. Is the pinwheel to vibrate away moles or to amuse the cat!

    1. Hmm.... Pinwheel amuses me to no end. I was walking back from the gas station a mile or so down the road, I can easily see my house from way off now with the neat color, plus noticed a flashing/strobbing shine. The Pinwheel!

Everyone wants me to build a septic. Hmm. Id need more water. Plus Septics are gross. I prefer composting. Smells better.

  5. I was refering to an out house.... = little house behind the big house. But in your case it would be a little house behind the little house. Sorry us folk from the south have a weard way of expressing our selves.

    1. Strange Floridians. ;) The idea is to dig a hole, (15-20ft) in order to explore. See if what I've been told about there being a surface spring was correct. If I do not find surface water (I do not need a huge amount so there is no need for a full on well) I can in turn use the hole for either a bunker, root cellar, or Walipin (Underground-green house.
