  1. No thank you. It's sunny and semi-warm here this week, nights just above freezing and days in the mid sixties, but expecting warmer temps this weekend. It actually hit 68 yesterday, so we might even see 70 today or tomorrow! My late plantings of spinach and bunching onions should appreciate that. It's touch and go as to whether I can grow them large enough to over winter.

    1. LOL. ;-) I'll manage on your behalf. Half my home is filled with bundles of soon to be installed insulation. Once I find the stapler...

  2. Looks very pretty and very cold. Is the mountain / hill in the back ground part of your land, or is it open so you can go up there. That looks like a great place to have a picnic --- during the summer of course. I would love to explore it. Have a great weekend I will check in again next week.

    1. It is weird. With the UV, it feels warm even if in the high 30s/40s. The granite mountain is the neighbors. I suppose I could secretly trudge up there. The more gravel hill off to the south east is partly my own though if I wish to go up it for a better viewpoint.

Well, time to find the stapler to install some of this insulation as its making my house half its size!

  3. Snow! That should motivate you to put up the insulation. How much yearly snow is normal for your area?
I still have my A/C on, tomorrow its to be 88f. That's about 15f above normal we should be 70f day and 50f night this time of year.

    1. I am motivated! It's 24F outside at 9pm. I've gotten a third put up. It is packed in the house with all the bags of it. Much more precarious when your home is filled with tables, couches, and large Tvs... trying to cut and install.

    2. The only thing I can find at the moment (Quick look) is for the Fossil Beds just down from me. 56 inches. So, not nearly as fun as Syracuse, NY with its 150. :-)

  4. I'm dreaming......of a whiiiiiite Halloweeeeeeen.....oh wait, it doesn't quite have the same ring to it.

Staple that insulation up and be warm. It's 55 here and been raining all afternoon and evening, ugh. Now as I type this, it's POURING. Sigh.
