Winter Wonderland Follow up - Insulation.

1st had a hilarious comment on the previous posting. "I'm dreaming of a white all hallows eve"!

It's catching on to me. *Sings*  :) Spent the afternoon with the neighbor down in the big City. Purchased a house full of insulation. Also purchased a number of concrete backer board sheets to put behind the fireplace, as well as build an indoor shower.

At the moment a third of the insulation is up. I will finish the rest tomorrow. Basically, that is the last major purchase (By cost) for the Tiny House.

The next items are drywall and two additional windows.

Oh, I was happy to see that the in store cost of the insulation was much less than what I had figured online. In turn, the $100 savings (Over previous calculated figures) was re-invested into a few gallons of exterior paint. Saving the difference. Happily. :)

Updated/Edited : Next week is a perfect time to get insulation....

Guess I am going to have to insulate the cabin this week to get through the night without (when the fire goes out while sleeping) waking up to a frozen toothbrush. Makes keeping the pearlies a little more exciting.

Or at least don't forget to empty out your bathroom cup of rise water.
