  1. ::clapping::: So exciting to see the walls go up. It won't be long now until you have a roof over your head.

    1. The idea is the fourth wall and roof tomorrow. I purchased some really nice white metal roofing/ridgecap material as well.

Id like to think I will be able to pack up the tents and move in to finish it either late tomorrow, but friday. :)

  2. Oh, you'll feel so much safer with four walls around you, even if you don't get the roof on! Board up the door, and no dang bear could get over those walls, LOL! I wish Rachel and I could be there cheering you on. We'd make a couple of great cheerleaders, huh? I'll bet 1st. would be right there with us :-)

    1. :-) Of Course.

Yep. The walls are very precarious to even get up there to work on it. Cathedral ceilings are awesome. Love the sense of volume. However... Interesting trying to build it all.

  3. Great job, I know AG and GrafisMuse would not be good cheerleaders, They would both grab a hammer and start nailing right along with you. It is hard believe you made so much progress in so little time. You have much to be proud of. Thank you for taking the time to let us look into your build. you have worked very hard for a very long time to make this dream come true.

    1. You are correct Frank. They would lend a helping hand. Gladly accepted as well. With this build (ie not the original, now to be a deck where i did all the build work) my neighbor has helped me to get supplies in his truck, lend additional power tools, and build. To raise two of the walls (Sheathed prior to lifted) it was my neighbor Kevin, him, and myself. The third AJ and I raised up. The fourth we build up and sheathed after.

It is all coming along fast now. This few months of summer has been an interesting one. Some instance peaceful and slow. Others very moldable, fast, and quick to change!
